Privacy Policy
Updated 8 September 2026
In short. We keep what we need to hang your mark, take payment, and count people on the site. We do not sell that. Card numbers never reach us. Your mark and link are public. That is the point.
Who this covers
Pickxel.io is the service at pickxel.io. Questions about this page go to hey@pickxel.io.
When you visit
The live headcount uses a random id stored in your browser for this tab. It pings so we can show how many people are here. It is not a login and it is not a profile of you.
We also keep a running visitor total. We do not use this for ads, and we do not sell it.
Pickxel.io does not set advertising cookies. Stripe may use cookies of its own to take payment.
When you claim a spot
We store the pixels you took, the link, the mark, when it happened, and the floor you paid. Email is optional. If you leave one, we keep it so a raise can be tied to you, and so a receipt can find you.
Stripe collects the card and billing details. We keep the payment references Stripe gives us, not the card itself.
When you click a listing
We count the click so the leaderboard can show it. That count is not tied to your name.
Marks from your site
We fetch the URL you give us to pull a title, a description, and a logo. That copy may appear on the canvas and the leaderboard while you hold the spot.
What is public
Your mark, your link, how long you have held the pixels, and the floor on those pixels are public. Email is not shown on the canvas.
Who helps us run this
Stripe takes payment. Supabase stores claims, floors, marks, and cached site pages. Vercel hosts the site and keeps ordinary server logs. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
A listing stays while the mark is on the canvas, and in the record of who held what. Payment records stay as long as accounting rules require.
You can ask us to take a listing down. The floor on those pixels still does not go back down.
Asking about your data
If a privacy law gives you rights to see, correct, or delete personal data we hold, email hey@pickxel.io. We may need enough to find your claim. A mark that also lives on your own site is still public there.
